School Rules and Regulations
Body Temperature
Parents and Guardians should take the body temperature of their child daily before sending him/her to school and record it in the temperature record sheet and then sign. If the child has fever (99°F or 37.2°C or above) or is not feeling well, he/she should seek medical advice and take a rest at home.
Health Report
Every child must submit a Health Report and a copy of the immunization record with the school before the child starts school.
Birthday Party
- The classroom teacher will invite the parents for the child's birthday party. It is important that the parents return the birthday confirmation to the school within the given dates for further arrangements.
- The birthday child may dress up for the party.
- The length of the party will last for approximately 30 minutes.
- To avoid distraction to children's learning, birthday parties will be held twice a month for each class. The classroom teachers will inform the parents of the dates for the party.
- Should the day of the party be a holiday or affected by bad weather, the birthday party shall be postponed to the next school day of the month.
Payment Methods and Arrangements
- The monthly tuition fees are encouraged to be paid by Auto-Pay for safety and convenience. (Download Direct Debit form)
- The school fees for each month will be deducted from your bank account by the first day of each calendar month. Remember to deposit the required amount into the bank to avoid unnecessary service charges.
- Should parents wish to pay by cheque, please make a crossed cheque payable to ‘TIVOLI NURSERY' for the Nursery Section and ‘TIVOLI ANGLO-CHINESE KINDERGARTEN' for the Kindergarten Section.
- Cheques will not be accepted if cheques bounce more than two times.
- All cheques should be made on or by the first day of each calendar month.
Withdrawal
If parents wish withdraw their children from school in the middle of the school year, either one-month's written notice or one month's tuition fee should be given.
Parental Involvement Programme
- Parents' involvement in their children's learning and development is highly encouraged
- Should parents wish to enroll for the ‘Parental Involvement Programme', please register at the school counter two weeks prior to the preferred date.
- The content of the programme will include storytelling, making props, organizing activities, etc.
Emergency Consent
In case of emergency, the school may be prompted to take action upon an accident that may occur during school hours. We would appreciate if parents could give their Emergency Consent to us before their child starts school.
Weather Related information
Our schools will be closed if Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, Red Rainstorm or Black Rainstorm warning is hoisted. Please listen to the radio or television announcements given by the Director of the Education Bureau.
